Gallstones

  1. Increase your intake of dietary fiber. This decreases the formation of stones.
  2. Avoid animal protein and fat which increases the formation of stones. Instead eat seafood, beans and lentils as your major source of protein.
  3. Fish oil supplements may help prevent stone formation.
  4. Enteric coated peppermint oil supplements may dissolve gallstones.
  5. Dandelion. Artichoke and turmeric are also helpful in gallbladder and liver dysfunction
